Bio

Growing up in Medford Lakes, New Jersey, Sierra Miles developed a deep passion for singing and began taking lessons when she was just 6 years old. By 13, she was performing in local venues accompanying herself on piano and guitar. She also began releasing self-written music under her childhood nickname, CC Miles, during this time. Her teenage years included performing at open mic nights and showcases at venues such as The Bitter End in New York and World Cafe in Philadelphia. At 20, she reclaimed her birth name as her stage name and moved to Los Angeles to pursue her career. Her performance history includes Los Angeles venues such as The Mint, The Hollywood Independent Music Awards (Avalon Theatre), Hotel Cafe, Hotel Ziggy, El Cid, and The Viper Room, as well as the stages of Broadway in Nashville and The Fox Theatre in Boulder.

Now 24, Sierra is currently creating music with producer Ricky England, whom she met at the Musexpo music conference in Los Angeles where she also performed at their main stage event. Following their meeting, she released "desert Rain" and "heArt & bones" in 2024. She continued in 2025 with the singles "lawLess," "the wEst," "Off the grid," and "bitEs." With the 2026 release of "wAnted," these tracks lead into her upcoming 18 track album, DIGGING IS A DEAD END, DARLING, scheduled for release in October 2026. Her sound is rooted in pop with dark Western, pop-rock, and indie-rock influences. Her songwriting explores the tension between the primal desire to self-protect through emotional facades and the courage required to tear down those walls to find authentic connection. The project utilizes Gold Rush and Western metaphors to examine the 'Criminal’s Curse'—the idea that emotional facades and the relentless pursuit of 'more' eventually calcify into a prison, obstructing true connection and the ability to recognize the present moment as the only real thing we have.
